S/H 1963 Burns Vistasonic Bass
S/H 1963 Burns Vistasonic Bass
Wow, the sixties called and they want you plug this bass in! Introduced in 1962, the Vista Sonic series was the first Burns model to feature a bolt-on neck and Poly finish.
More importantly, it also has tri-sonic pickups and ‘Split-Sound’ circuitry, including the iconic ‘wild dog’ setting. In UK recording studios during the 1960s, Burns basses were regularly used as a viable alternative to Fender Precision and Jazz basses and ended up becoming an icon itself.
Although reissues are out there, none quite get that crazy dark low-end that mixes with its inimitable treble growl. This instantly transports you to a time where musicians and writers were protean innovators and instruments like this were helping to accommodate that versatility. The feel is incredible.
All original, comes with hard case and 3-year-warranty.
