1976 Gretsch 7690 'Super Chet', Autumn Red

This vintage 'Super Chet' is a great example of Gretsch's craftsmanship and how The Baldwin era did actually produce some real hitters. Lovely and ornate abalone inlays on the ebony fretboard, tailpiece and headstock. Multiple binding on the body/sides and loaded with two 'Blacktop' FilterTrons. 

Neeearly all original if it weren't for one missing top on the tone wheel.
