The lesser spotted croc! 

This gorgeous Hofner 185 Artist bass has just arrived in great condition. With the boom of solid body electric basses in the 50s and 60s, instrument manufacturers were struggling to meet the increasing demand. By using vinyl wraps, Hofner eliminated the drying process from the finish stage of their guitars which streamlined their production efficiency to meet demand and result in some really striking instruments!

Keeping it monochrome with it's double-cut, offset body wrapped with a white textured vinyl wrap and black scratch plate, loaded with a set of the same Hofner staple humbuckers that helped put their Violin basses on the map, this Artist Bass delivers all the thump and groove of the era. 

It comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included the price.
