S/H 1970's CMI Japan Precision Bass Replica, Three Tone Sunburst

This is a really cool MIJ Precision bass copy, built in the 70s for Chicago Musical Instruments (not to be confused with Marshalls 'Cleartone Musical Instruments'), this bass has some excellent tonal features that make it a versatile recording bass and a rock stead touring bass! 

The single coil pickup is really well balanced and has a lot of attack, and there are two switched by the tone control that basically act as low pass filters to add a couple of other options of tonal variety. 

A wicked piece of Japans instrument production history!
