S/H 1978 Fender Precision Bass, Three Tone Sunburst

The impact Fender's Precision bass made on the landscape of bass playing was huge and was arguably one of the most progressive and important developments that the instrument had ever seen. In its 70 (plus!) years of production it has remained the go-to instrument on any stage, studio and even in any genre!

As great sounding as it is hard working, this new addition to our vintage bass line up is a fantastic example as to how the Precision has been top of the table for so long. Comprised of the time honoured combination of a solid Ash body and a Maple neck but vying for the 70s style narrower 1.58" nut width for a more comfortable play feel compared to its predecessors. Loaded with its factory split-coil pickup, traditionally low mid-range focused with plenty of output and a surprising amount of top end clarity.

It's definitely been played and its original Sunburst finish has yellowed out towards the edges in a way that's condusive to it's vintage charm but is in otherwise fantastic playing order.

It comes compelte with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price. Feel free to get in touch for any further information vai the contact form below!
