What a cannon! 

The 17" lower bout width offers enough space and resonance to deliver a truly impressive low end and powerful projection. Coupled with the configuration of Spruce on top and a lovely piece of lightly quilted Maple on the back and sides - two of the hardest/brightest sounding tone woods -  to balance out the bass in its voicing. 

It's a wonderful example of Guild's expertise, the lacquer checking on the top is reflective of its age and it has some signs of patina but as we say (often), that's character!
