S/H 1995 Fender MIJ Jazz Bass, Aged Cherry Foto Flame

A slightly unusual piece of Fender Japan history: the Foto Flame Jazz. Between 1995 & 1996, this striking finish was offered in a number of colours including this one in Aged Cherry.

As can be deduced from the photos, the finishing process led to the flame developing lacquer cracks. This bass has them all over the body which gives a Roadworn vibe. The neck is super smooth and is accompanied by a gorgeous rosewood board, and the pickups have been swapped out for Fender American Original Jazz Set.

The bass has that classic Jazz quality of being punchy and articulate. This Jazz may have scars on the outside but it’s tone will leave feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Comes with a 3-year warranty and gig bag. Will be safely and thoroughly packaged.
